We specialise in undertaking tree related work in suburban gardens.
This could be as small as removing a branch or two, or a more complex prune or tree removal. We shape trees as much as possible, promoting their health, and ensuring the tree remains safe.
We carefully tend fruit trees – apples and pears in winter, stone fruits (cherries, plums/damsons, peaches) in the summer months. We prune shrubs, and shape them. Some shrubs need complete renovation and benefit from hard pruning, whereas others do not tolerate it.
Some trees grow extremely tall – over 100ft – (Poplar lombardii), some redwoods, and cedars, whereas other are medium-sized, two storey house height. Most trees we deal with are house height or smaller.
We create light and space in your garden by simple tree management. We can create a safe play area for your children by pruning out any dead, dying and diseased wood.
Part of the ‘clean-up’ is to saw, process, chop, split and stack wood into a tidy wood pile if you have a log fire/stove. If not, we remove the wood and leave your garden as we found it.

Remember the apple tree you did some hard pruning to..? Well it obviously liked it it as has rewarded us with a full tree of blooms and maybe even apples later. We had written it off as an apple tree as it never did anything. Thanks. A lot ! Annie
